A beloved restaurant once located in West Des Moines is back in business with a streamlined menu and shorter hours. Formerly located at 1221 8th Street in West Des Moines, the Lemon Grass Restaurant has now relocated to Adel and serves its menu during weekday hours, so the owner can spend more time with his family.
The restaurant serves a variety of Thai dishes, among which the Chicken Satay appetizer and Rard Nar with chicken and Pad Thai are a few of the restaurant specialties.
Lemon Grass has been freshly renovated and reflects an ambiance that is only found in authentic Thai restaurants. The revamped restaurant opened on Jan 16th and is located at 909 Main Street in Adel. In addition to the authentic Thai cuisine, customers can also enjoy beer, wine, hot tea, and soft drinks. We're expecting the finalized new menu to soon appear on the restaurant's official Facebook page.
With uncompromised service quality and hospitality, the delicious Thai dishes are a culinary delight. Every customer can expect fresh and well-prepared dishes, made from only the finest ingredients and freshly picked crabs, fish, chicken, and vegetables. Each dish comes on a heat scale of 1-5.
Chad Lovan operated the Lemon Grass Restaurant for four years in Clive and seven years in West Des Moines. In spite of an 11-year history, the new concept shall draw in old and new customers alike.
