Summertime Fun at EWALU Camp & Retreat Center

Is the summer starting to feel a little too long? Do you and the kids need a retreat? EWALU Camp and Retreat Center in Strawberry Point is just the place for kids to experience new things and explore nature. Whether if it’s their first time or first time back, there's always something new to experience. Every camper receives a warm, open-arm welcome at EWALU.

EWALU is located on a gravel road near Strawberry Point, Iowa. EWALU wants campers to have a meaningful time experiencing nature, having fun with new friends, and growing in faith. At EWALU the campers have access to a huge swimming pool, a high ropes course, team building games, over ten miles of trails, more than two miles of riverfront, farm animals, ample indoor space, over 50 campfire rings, a dozen workshop sites, and hands-on environmental education tools. The elementary group has eight programs for campers, the middle school programming has six different programs, and the high school section has seven programs. Pick a program that fits your student's needs and passions.

Parents play an important role in making summer camp happen through donations and fundraising. This helps send kids who otherwise may not otherwise be able to experience Camp EWALU.

Ready to plan a retreat for your student at EWALU for a summer adventure at camp in Iowa?
