Want to see the glorious sight of fireworks over the mighty Mississippi River? Come to the riverfront town of Guttenberg on July 6th! This is truly a sight to see as the sparkly lights reflect in the water below.
Guttenberg will be hosting their annual Stars and Stripes Celebration: “Rock’n Our Freedom” with a day filled with family-fun activities. Start your morning with a healthy 5K run/walk at 7 am. The music, food, and games get the afternoon rock’n.
For the kiddos, there will be barrel train rides, inflatables, rock climbing wall, live animals, and more… Like watermelon? There will be a juicy watermelon eating contest at 5 pm.
There's plenty of fun to be had for the adults too. Test your luck with adult BINGO this year. The beer garden is open from 4-10:30 pm. Listen or dance the night away to live music at 3 pm by The After Party.
Get ready to catch the candy! The parade starts at 7 pm. It'll be filled with red and green tractors all decked out with 4th of July decorations, American veterans proudly honoring our flag, and the men and women who serve in our local fire, police, and emergency departments.
When the sun sets, there will be a loud BANG with the first bright and colorful fireworks lighting up the moonlight sky.
Bring your lawn chairs or blankets for a rock'n good time with a breathtaking show to celebrate our nation’s independence!
