Are you looking for delicious Iowa home-style comfort food and Iowa grown and made wine? Head to Café Rose’ in Edgewood. It's owned and operated by Rosie Totman. Café Rose’ is located in the towns original 1906 bank building that Rosie has carefully restored. Rosie offers suites to stay in. Food, drinks, and a bedroom suite? What more do you need!
Upon your arrival, you'll notice the old bank clock hanging from the red brick building. Just to the left around the corner, you walk down some steps into a delightful café. Once there, take a seat at a table or at the unique glass block bar. Rosie always greets her guests with a warm smile. She will inform you of her daily specials made with fresh ingredients. Look over the menu that is inspired by home-style comfort food. Try the delicious hand-crafted Iowa grown and made wine. Rosie spends countless hours tending to the grapes on the vines of her favorite Marechal Foch. Savor the aroma as you swirl the sweet red wine in the glass. The arrival of your meal of choice might include warm hearty soup and sandwich. With just the first bite, your mouth will already be watering. It's all so... good, right down to the last bite and sip.
