Head to the Monona’s City Park Friday night for a Hog Roast Supper from 6-8 pm. Once you have enjoyed your mouthwatering hog roast, get your glow on to participate in the Glow/Run Fun/Walk at dusk. They'll be handing out headbands, bracelets, T-Shirts and body/face paints. After the run/walk, there's an after-party in City Park.
On Saturday, start the day off with a Pancake Breakfast at the Community Center from 7-10 am. Enjoy the delicious homemade pancakes with sweet maple syrup before the parade starts at 11 am. There will be festival foods, desserts, and drinks available throughout the day and the beer tent will open from noon to midnight.
Bring your comfy lawn chairs for the opening ceremony and music by center stage in the park. The afternoon is packed with fun-filled activities for all ages. If you enjoy a classic car/truck show or tractor show competition, come and vote on your favorite. The Tractor Pull is back this year starting at 2 pm. You can always participate in the bean bag tournament for a challenge with your buddies.
Don't think we forgot about the kids. There will be rock climbing, an inflatable bouncy house, face painting, bean bag toss, and carnival games. The FREE sanctioned Kiddie Tractor Pull starts at 1:30 pm.
Also at 1:30 pm is FREE live music starting with Triple Threat. This is a country/rock band. Bruce Bearinger will be performing from 4-8 pm. And in the evening, a street dance will be performed by Slide Project from 8 pm - 12 am.
