Follow the Rainbow to Elkader This St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day will be here before we know it! And we're inviting you to follow the rainbow to the pot of gold in Elkader, IA for their annual St. Patrick's Day Parade & Celebration. In other words, come catch your leprechaun with the luck of the Irish!

The folks of Clayton County take their St. Patrick's day celebrations seriously, so don't forget to wear green or you might just get pinched.

The parade kicks off at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 17th with festivities to follow. So get here early to find a spot where you can enjoy the pots of gold, rainbows, green shamrocks, tiny red-haired leprechauns, and, of course, candy! And did we mention the festive floats, band, and the folks from American Legion? What a great way to celebrate with friends and family!

Afterward, head on over to Jem Salon & Spa to get your face painted for FREE. Just stop by anytime between 3 and 5 pm.

That's not all though – make your way to Johnson’s Reception Hall & Restaurant for a delicious meal and live music by Father Peters. Or, get the true Irish experience at Fennellys’ Irish Pub & Restaurant. There's sure to be a leprechaun or two in this Irish family-owned establishment. Last, but certainly not least, check out Drew’s Bar & Grille for more holiday celebrations.

We can't wait to see you in Elkader!
