If you’re a live music lover living in Iowa, then you’re used to traveling to see a good show. You may plan an entire weekend trip around it. Perhaps you’ve even scheduled your summer based on when your favorite band is touring.
Start exploring now with the area’s only all-digital station that plays all local and all original music: QC3Degree Radio. Run entirely by Quad Cities musicians, it’s their goal to make sure you have access to every local voice, from MidWest folk to punk grindcore to genre-defying soundscapes. You can listen online or download the app, available for iOS and Android.
Both the website and the app list what's currently playing, so if you like something you hear, you can search for performance dates or other work by that artist. For example, if I hear a song from Liv Carrow's album, Pile of Needles, I can search Bandsintown to see if she's touring or go to Davenport and see her perform in a cool new venue, like the Triple Crown Whiskey Bar and Raccoon Motel.
QC3Degree welcomes submissions from area artists and musicians. Visit their website for more information at http://qc3degreeradio.com.
