Did You Say Redhorse Fishery Fun Day Fishing?

EYE- EYE MATEY, fishing season is here. Who’s ready to catch some mighty ole fish? Are you ready to have loads of fun while catching a monster of a fish? You mates best be ready to catch that big ole fish at the Twenty Eighth Annual Red Horse Fishery in Elkader, Iowa.

Prepare to catch that slick Red Horse, Carp, and maybe a Sucker, one or two or all three.

Shiver me timbers matey, what a way to spend a day with family or with some first-rate fishing pals! Get that strong sturdy fishing pole out, dust off the invaluable tackle box, get the fishing gear in place - and remember to be careful of the old fishing hooks. Those small sharp hooks can get a hook in you. Do not forget the live fishing bait...you know those slippery slimy wiggly worms. Youngsters sometimes like to have a little fun. So you might happen to hear a high pitched loud squeals from little youngsters running around at the Red Horse Fishery. You can only guess someone is being chased around by a silly wiggly live worm.

While fishing, you’ll get to relax and enjoy being outside to take in the fresh clean spring air as you cast out a clear fishing line. Feeling the glorious sun shine down on your face will feel so invigorating while you wait patiently for the moment you hook the FISH. You can take in the peaceful sounds of nature that are all around, from the rippling river flowing by, to the chirping birds singing a song, and visiting with the friendly mates that will be enjoying a day in Clayton County Iowa.

Hornswaggle up a few funny fish tales with a chuckle here and there. Share some good fishing tips. Always a great plus, learning about the plentiful fishing spots from the gracious locals. Al-righty you will feel a slight tug from a nibble on the clear fishing line. You will anxiously rile and pull in the FISH in on the line of your pole. Yep, that is it! You will have caught that AMAZING FISH. Ahoy to The Red Horse Fishey in Elkader, Iowa.
