4 All-in-One Resort and Waterparks for a Last Minute Vacation

There is still time for a last-minute summer vacation. However, Labor Day is fast approaching. Iowa runneth over with wonderful resorts and waterparks. These four are sure to entice every member of the family.

  1. Bridges Bay Resort:  Bridges Bay Resort is a family paradise located in Okoboji, Iowa. The resort features Boji Splash, an indoor waterpark. A food and beverages cantina is available within the waterpark. The resort offers condominiums that will sleep up to 12 people comfortably. In addition to the condominiums, the park boasts hotel-style guest rooms and vacation cabins. Lake access and a waterfront bar and grill add up to an awesome adventure.
  2. Grand Harbor Resort and WaterparkFamilies return year after year to vacation at the Grand Harbor Resort and Waterpark at the Port of Dubuque, Iowa. The waterpark is complete with tube rides, water chutes, squirt guns, lazy river, water cannon, rope ladders, activity pool, hot tub, and waterslides. The Cave Arcade is an interactive game room complete with Whack-a-Mole, arcade games, ski ball and more. There are approximately 193 luxurious hotel rooms within the resort.   4. King's Pointe Waterpark ResortThe resort is in northwest Iowa on scenic Storm Lake. Families are comfortably accommodated with free Wi-Fi, luxury bed linens, coffee/tea maker, wake-up calls, rollaway beds, sofa sleeper and more in a guest room or suite. The hotel dining room overlooks beautiful Lake Storm, where guests may dine for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The resort features indoor and outdoor waterparks for the child in everyone. The resort boasts a nine-hole golf course covering over 40 acres and a mini golf for the younger set. Aqua bikes, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and pontoon boats are available for rent.
