A Beautiful Day to and from Eagles Landing Winery

Do you enjoy taking an afternoon road trip to experience new things? Head over to where the eagles soar high above to Eagles Landing Winery. Enjoy the fresh warm air and some of Northeast Iowa's amazing scenic views. Travel on the River Bluff Scenic Byway to Eagles Landing Winery in Marquette.

The winery offers FREE wine sipping daily. Taste-test the delicious award-winning Marquette Maid”. My own group decided on a glass of a fruity red called "Campfire Hootch." While we are savoring the luscious flavor and the pleasant aroma of the wine, we chatted with friendly folks and relaxed. The atmosphere at Eagles Landing is so very inviting. We finished off our glasses of the award-winning "Campfire Hootch," and said our goodbyes.

Traveling along the country roads on the River Bluff Scenic Byway, we took in the glorious site of the rolling hills and rocky limestone bluffs along the great Mississippi River. Next up was a scenic drive to Pikes Peak State Park for some hiking. Here, we took in the cool, crisp upper Iowa air.

With summer in the air, enjoying an afternoon at a family-owned winery is picture perfect. Be sure to add these Midwest gems to your summer bucket list. A road trip along the Rivers Bluff Scenic Byway is sure to be a fantastic Iowa summer treat.
