3 Clayton County Community Celebrations in June

Three family-fun community days are happening this June in Clayton County. Come to Edgewood, Monona, or Strawberry Point to kick off the start of summer. Each town has a theme with different activities for all ages to enjoy. Check out one small-town or all three this June.

Celebrate the start of Summer at Strawberry Point's "Strawberry Days" June 7th - June 9th.

Friday, June 7th:

  • Kick off Ceremonies at the Civic Center Grounds
  • Games in Inger Park from 6-8 pm
  • A Kiddie Parade starts at 6:30 pm. Following the parade will be the crowning of Mr. and Miss and Teen Strawberry in Inger Park.
  • A friendly game of Family Feud/ Improv Show starts at 8:30 pm, followed by a movie under the stars (Civic Center if weather is questionable) at Inger Park.

Saturday, June 8th:

  • A 5K Walk/Run starts at 8 am at Campbell Park.
  • Enjoy the parade at 11 am. How much candy can you catch?
  • Then, head to the Civic Center area for a Carnival, Beer Garden, Bag Tournament, FREE Strawberries, and Ice-Cream (while supplies last).
  • End the night with live music by Beau Timmerman at 5:30 pm and 3rd Offense from 6-10 pm.

Sunday, June 9th:

  • A Truck And Tractor Pull at Campbell Park kicks the morning off at 11 am. FREE Strawberries and Ice-Cream are to follow at 11:30 am while supplies last.

Have a Hay of Good time at Monona Hay Days June 7th and 8th.

Friday, June 7th:

  • Head to City Park for a Hog Roast Supper from 6-8 pm.
  • There's a Glow Run/Fun Walk to follow.

Saturday, June 8th:

  • Pancake Breakfast from 7-10 am.
  • Kid-Friendly Games, Inflatables, Face Painting, and more…
  • The parade starts at Noon. It’s candy catching time!
  • Classic Car/Truck Show at 1-3:30 pm.
  • Tractor Show at 1:30 pm then a Tractor Pull at 2 pm.
  • Live music by Bruce Bearinger from 4-8 pm and Side Project from 8 pm-12 am.

Saddle up for a good-ole rodeo at Edgewood Pro Rodeo Days June 27th - June 30th.

Thursday, June 27th:

  • A Kid’s Carnival opens at 1 pm.
  • The Rodeo Pre-Show begins at 6:30 pm and the “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” PRCA Rodeo kicks off at 8 pm.

Friday, June 28th:

  • A Golf Tournament starts the day off at 9 am. Then the “Wrangler National Patriot"  PRCA Rodeo at 8 pm.

Saturday, June 29th:

  • Start the morning off strong with a 5K Trot and Gallop at 7:30 am. Lunch and Games begin at 11 am with a parade at 2pm and the PRCA Rodeo at 8 pm.

Sunday, June 30th

  • Come on out for a Fireman’s Breakfast at 8 am and a then Demolition Derby at 1 pm.

Wow, these three small-towns have a lot going to in their celebrations! Come to see for yourself and have some family fun.
