Strawberry Point: A Berry Nice Place to Visit

Strawberry Point, located in the midst of scenic Clayton County, has a very unique tourist attraction that you didn’t know you need to see until now! (Hint: It’s located in STRAWBERRY Point).

You guessed it! Strawberry Point is home to “The World’s Largest Strawberry.” While it’s only one of the many sights to see in the area, Strawberry Point is home to many other unique places to visit.

The Franklin Hotel: On the National Register of Historic Places, the Franklin Hotel is both a restaurant and hotel. Enjoy the character of the building which was built in 1902—it’ll take you back in time. Whether you’re looking for a hot, tasty meal or a cozy place to stay, or both, the Franklin Hotel will cater to your needs. You’ll be greeted by the friendly staff, and maybe even a ghost…

OT’s Sports Bar: Maybe a nice, sit down meal isn’t your cup of tea. Sometimes you need a big, greasy cheeseburger, fried onion rings and an ice cold beverage of choice after a long day. Look no further than OT’s Sports Bar for your needs. Kick back and enjoy the game with your friends and family at OT’s.

Strawberry Foods, Deli & Bakery: Stop by Strawberry Foods to get the ingredients to make your home-cooked meal or pick up some items to take on a picnic at Backbone State Park.

Clayton Drug: Convenience isn’t an issue in Strawberry Point with Clayton Drug. The 5-star retail pharmacy has everything you need from prescription medicines, gifts and everyday needs. Clayton Drug is also home to an “Old Fashioned Soda Fountain.” Stop by for a refreshing ice cream soda, root  beer float or cherry coke!

Visit Clayton County’s website to plan your itinerary to Strawberry Point or view one of the pre-made itineraries that suits your interest!
