Reiman Gardens invites you to help celebrate the Gardens’ past and future at their 20th Anniversary Party! Starting Friday, June 5, join Iowa State University President and Mrs. Steven Leath, Reiman Gardens' Director Edward Lyon, and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Reiman and dance under the stars to music by the High Society Big Band. There will also be drinks and appetizers for you to enjoy during a program highlighting Reiman Gardens' first 20 years.
On Saturday, June 6, bring the whole family to the family-friendly celebration which will be held throughout the day. The day will be packed with fun activities including a story teller, face painting, balloon animals, a juggler, Co-Motion Dancers and even a puppet show! So don't miss out on this fun celebration and another great chance to spend some quality time with your loved ones.
All year, the Gardens will celebrate the amazing achievements of the past and look towards our future goals. Visit the Gardens throughout the year to see our festive displays featuring fireworks, punch, parties, and more. Learn about Reiman Gardens’ past and be inspired by what the future will bring. Interact with the Gardens in eight tree houses all honoring the Gardens, and of course the trees!
The InTREEguing TREEhouse exhibit will be on display through October 25, 2015 so if you’re unable to attend the anniversary party, we invite you to check out this creative and fun exhibit. There are eight interactive, life-size outdoor treehouses scattered throughout the Gardens. Each site-specific treehouse showcases the talents of local designers, architects, artists, and students, and is inspired by the surrounding trees and a unique cultural or social event.
