The Family Museum is a located in Bettendorf, Iowa and belongs to Scott County. The museum was constructed in 1997 and is located on Learning Campus Drive, next to the Bettendorf Public library. The Family Museum offers an array of unique educational experiences for families and children of all ages.
There are various daily activities such as drop-in classes, special events on Saturdays, play areas, and a collection of interactive exhibits like Fox hollow, Bob the builder, George’s farm and Lil ‘Ssippi River Valley. The museum has large space for children to play, with multi-purpose rooms for dance classes and performances, two art studios, one science studio, two preschool classrooms, and a party room. Since my family is around this area, we usually celebrate our kids' birthdays at this party center. They also have a private outdoor playground called “Kingdom for kids”.
The museum has fall classes scheduled for this season. You can reach out to Ms. Julie at 563-344-4170 for more information. The Family Museum's fall scout program is just about to kick off. This is a fun program with great outdoor learning experiences for kids. Additionally, they have badge workshops and a sleepover, too.
As part of Halloween tradition, the museum is organizing a pumpkin drop event. The visitors are encouraged to bring their old pumpkins, instead of throwing them away, and drop it off at the great pumpkin drop event. You can decorate your pumpkin as you like and drop it off at this event.
