Don’t miss out on the “I love PRIME RIB” special where you will find some of the best prime rib in town. In addition, Valentine diners will also get a dinner salad, garlic Texas toast, and a choice of broccoli, baked potato, or French fries all for $17.99. After dinner, stay for cocktails, specialty beers, or a Tom-Tom Tap famous Old Fashioned. This delicious option begins at 5:00 PM but be sure to take your Valentine in early because prime rib will only be served until it runs out.
American Home Finding's 5th Annual Chocolate Lovers-7:00-11:30 PM The best part about Valentine’s Day? Chocolate! The best part about American Home Finding’s 5th annual Chocolate Lovers Event? Chocolate and helping a good cause! Purchase tickets to take your sweetheart to this event to enjoy the music of Sez Who, a silent auction, celebrity bartenders, specialty drinks, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and chocolate of course! This event will be held at the Hotel Ottumwa. If tickets are purchased before February 7, the cost it $25 per person or $40 per couple. After that date, prices will be $30 per person and $45 per couple. The price includes all the chocolate you can eat, appetizers, and a glass of pink champagne. Market on Main Valentine’s Dinner-6:00 PM This is a great option for those of you who would like to celebrate a night early. You and your Valentine will be able to delight in a fantastic culinary experience with many great food options made by the self-taught culinary masters of the Market on Main vendors. Couples will be able to choose from smoked prime rib, baked potato, and sautéed green beans; shrimp scampi with sun-dried tomato pesto cheese tortellini and sautéed green beans; or prosciutto/asiago stuffed chicken breast with sun-dried tomato pesto cheese tortellini and sautéed green beans. Dessert will include chocolate mousse with raspberry sauce and white chocolate dipped raspberries. A bottle of wine is also included with the meal. This romantic, candlelit dinner will also feature live music. The meal is $45 per person. People must RSVP by Monday, February 8 at the Market or by phone at 641.682.0261. Hotel Ottumwa Valentine’s Day Dinner-5:00-8:00 PM Another great option for couples, groups, or whomever you choose to spend your evening with is occurring at the Hotel Ottumwa in the Fox & Sac Room. Enjoy beautiful, live harp music performed by Haley Rose Music while dining on your choice of ribeye steak, scampi, or eggplant lasagna.
