It’s the season! Every Thursday from May through September, the Main Street Farmer’s Market comes alive on the 100 Block of West Broadway in Historic Downtown Council Bluffs, Iowa.
This is the 5th year for the Market which started on the corner of 9th Avenue and South Main- thus the name “Main Street Farmer’s Market”. In 2013, the Market grew larger and moved to the historic sidewalks on the 100 Block of West Broadway Council Bluffs, Iowa. Vendor tents and booths line the ample sidewalks of Broadway for leisurely, safe shopping. Vendors park their vehicles in the parking stalls along the street.
Visit the Market to select fresh produce and other farm products, browse homemade and handmade items like jewelry and baked goods. Stop and linger for a cooking class- learn the best methods to prepare and savor your pickings from the market! Live music just adds to the festive atmosphere along with kettle corn and lemonade.
While you stroll this Historic Victorian Block, stop in at one of the many shops, RNG gallery, and meet friends at one of the nine establishments on the block with food and beverages to make your Thursday evening a treat. Outdoor seating keeps you engaged with the Market shoppers and activity while you relax and connect with friends.
