Homemade Holidays!

The fun in creating is just as great as the joy of giving.

There’s nothing quite like a homemade gift. Whether the kids are creating art for the grandparents or you’re making something unique for your friends, the joy of giving is magnified when you give your talent and time too.

This year take advantage of these great workshops where the fun of making the gifts is just as great as the joy in giving them!  Don’t buy it?  Here’s just one example: Studio Fuzzishu in West Des Moines is hosting glass blowing classes. For just $15 you’ll create a festive glass holiday ornament. Check out all the fun some of the Iowa Tourism staff had at Studio Fuzzishu:

If glass blowing isn’t your thing, Studio Fuzzishu also holds classes in bead and jewelry making.
